I BOUGHT THE PROTECTIVE BRAID, NOW HOW DO I WASH IT?
To hand-wash the crib bumper braid , fill a sink or basin with water and dilute the coconut soap. Submerge the braid and let it soak for up to 40 minutes. Gently scrub any dirt. Let the water drain and change it at least twice to ensure there's no soap left. Gently squeeze the braid to remove excess water. Place it in the center of a sheet and hang the sheet by the ends to the clothesline, allowing the water to drain. After draining the excess water, hang the braid on a white cloth to finish drying, or hang it on a floor clothesline. Drying time on hot or windy days is approximately 20 hours. The braid does not need to be unbraided for washing.
To machine wash the crib bumper braid , fill the machine halfway with water and add the appropriate amount of coconut soap. Let it spin for a second to dilute the soap. Place the braid in the machine in a circular position and select the delicate fabrics or 25-minute quick wash option. Let it spin only long enough to remove excess water. Dry the braid in the shade, without clips to avoid marks, or on a white cloth, or if preferred, on a clothesline. Drying time on hot or windy days is approximately 10 hours. The braid does not need to be unbraided for washing.
